Mommy Peer Pressure….

Do you ever feel what I call Mommy Pressure?

When I first found out about picture day, I wasn’t too concerned. I figured that like last year, I’d go find him a white shirt and a sweater vest and be done.  I mean, it worked out last year right? He was a  cutie patootie!

But, umm, that was before he enrolled in the church school. Yeah. With children of parents who actually take their child to church.  They have church clothes. Clothes that they will be wearing today.

Hmmm.

So, in my mind, the sweater vest and jeans/khaki’s just wouldn’t work.

And this my friends, sent me in a tizzy yesterday searching for the perfect little outfit for Pookah to wear on Picture day. Because I would NOT have those moms and teachers talking about my baby!

And this is him…..

Of course, he would not stay still, so I’ll take what I can get! LOL

Right! I came to drop Jas off a few weeks ago and all 3 girls had pretty much the same style. I mean the twins looked cute too. But when I dropped her off last week with braids and 2 days later the twins had the same style I was like uh. . . Lol whateva. It must mean I'm doing a good job right?

Hey looks so handsome!

I've never felt mommy peer pressure but others have felt it from me in a sense. Like I make sure jasmine's hair is always neat and her clothes are always cute and clean which prompted the mom of the twins at daycare to step her game up with her girls. Even going so far as a copy the braid styles I do on Jas. Really, its whatever works. I don't dress my child up to make someone felt weird.

Usually, Pookah is on point. He is well dressed EVERY day and looks cute. But dresss up? LOL. Nope. I've been slacking in that area. But I'll be fixing that soon. But the copying the braid style? Interesting.....
