Monday Randomness

It’s Monday and it’s time for Monday Randomness……

  1. Vacation:It rained. We hadn’t seen rain in over a month and it chose to rain when I go to the beach.  Well, at least I didn’t have to put on a bathing suit.
  2. Speaking of bathing suits, why was I (with my little c-section pooch and thicker thighs) the only one concerned about putting on a bathing suit.  Because obviously, the women who weighed 250 pounds and over had NO problem putting on one.  And strutting freely up and down the beach.  With bellies( yes, bellies) hanging out.  Maybe it’s a self esteem issue? A love yourself as you are issue??????
  3. Which leads me to: Atlanta.  Full of overweight women…stuffed into sized 6 clothes.  I am soooo happy summer is over because I am soooo tired of seeing large, overweight teenagers/young adults in torn daisy dukes.  Ass hanging out of the bottom and double muffin tops hanging over the top.  Or, just unbuttoned.  Everything was hanging out.  SMH. Really?  REALLY? And I seem to be the only one that has a problem with this…..
  4. Which leads me to ask:is the obesity epidemic so widespread that fat women squeezed into daisy dukes is the new normal?
  5. Which leads me to say, I am glad for once in my life that it’s fall.  Time to cover up until I can get this weight off.  It’s boots and cute coat weather.  Sweater and jeans weather.
  6. And since fall is here, and October, that means the Holiday season is right around the corner! Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas!   With the addition of Pookahs birthday the day after Thanksgiving, this has just become “the most wonderful time of the year……” ( in my Johnny Mathis singing voice).
  7. Finally, I know I’m late, but have you heard Ceelo’s new song “F**k You”?  Hilarious people.  Just hilarious.

Stay tuned for next weeks episode…..

Ive never hard issues with being in a swimsuit. But I'm also very comfortable with myself.

I hate the way shorts fit on me so unless they are for sleeping, you won't catch me in any. I'll pass!

I hate fall fashion! lol. I'm probably the odd ball tho. I don't like to be THAT covered up ever. It's uncomfortable to me. But I live in So. Cal so that should explain that. It's usually summer here year round.

This year went by way too fast but I am excited about the holidays. Princess J has a 1st birthday coming up on the 30th. She's having a costume party. She loves food already so I can't wait for her to try out thanksgiving food! My fav holiday. Food, family and my birthday all rolled into one. And Christmas! Oh she's so going to love christmas this year. Last Christmas she was barely 2 months old.

And I love F.U I added it to my ipod after I heard it the very 1st time. But I also love Cee-lo

#2. SMH. I was watching an episode of this season's Biggest Loser and the woman was talking about how bad she looked in her bathing suit. The problem was that she had squeezed herself into one of those suits with the oval cutouts on the side and the skinny piece in the middle. She really should not have even *owned* that suit.

#3,4. I've worn shorts twice this entire summer and both times were at my small gym for a workout. Even when I was running in the heat I didn't go there. I just don't like the look of it even if they are size-appropriate.

#7: I have and it is funny! I need to download it because I forgot about it. I don't listen to the radio very much.

Stopping by from SITS...

First- no you are not alone in the I don't want to put on a bathing suit department... that's why I have a pool in my backyard... and I often just wear my clothes when I go in... it is MY POOL MY RULES! And again, yes, over-weight-ness is the norm. The average size in women's clothing is a size 16... that means that 50% of the population is a size 16 or larger. Being a 16 myself, and hating that I am because I really want to be back to a size 10...

I LOVE the song F**k You!!!! Every time I hear it on the radio (they change it to "Forget You" I get mad and yell the real lyrics out in defiance of the FCC.
