What's in my Camera bag for Travel?

My trip to Jamaica is less than 48 hours away.

The packing/organizing/panicking is in full swing.

One of the first bags I packed, was my camera bag.  I have to have all the things for documenting every little moment that I can, because who knows when we will get another vacation like this alone. LOL

Anyhoo, I thought it would be fun to show you what’s in my camera bag for my trip!!

1. My Kelly Moore Esther Bag.

This is my go to travel bag. Not only can I take all of my camera needs, but I can add my laptop. This is the perfect carry on bag and I honestly never leave home without it.

2. My Seagate External Hard Drive

Because I’m sort of anal about downloading my photos as I go and I don’t like keeping my photos on the hard drive of my computer.

3. My iPhone 7Plus

Because how else are all of these lovely photos going to get to Instagram?

4. Canon 24-105 f/4 L Lens

The lovely people over at Borrowlenses.com are loaning me this wonderful lens for the trip. I feel like I rent it every time we go on vacation. I need to just breakdown and buy it…Christmas is coming…

5. Canon 6D

I thought about leaving it at home…for about 5 seconds. Seriously. It’s Jamaica. Think about all that blue water and sand…..

6. A Travel Tripod

Yes. I.AM.THAT.PERSON.  I am bringing a tripod. My husband is not going to get up at sunrise to help me capture myself on the beach. So me and this trusty little tripod will scout locations together. .

7. HP Sproket Portable Photo Printer

I’ve been eyeballing this since it was released! And the wonderful folks over at HP (partners with  #beachesmoms) sent us this cutie for the trip! I can’t wait to use it!

8. Gorillapod Mobile

Because…you need a portable tripod for your smartphone. #thatisall

9. Olympus TG-4 Waterproof Camera.

Remember the time the ocean ate my iPhone? Yeah, not happening again. When I’m the ocean..this is what I’ll be taking photos with.

10. Xtra batteries

Because who wants to be in the middle of documenting the trip of a lifetime only to have a dead camera?

11.Extra Memory Cards

Because I plan on taking a WHOLE LOT OF PHOTOS lol

So that’s what’s in my camera bag for traveling to Jamaica on Wednesday. Be sure you follow me on Instagram for photos and Instagram stories for more and Snap @lashawnwiltz for the real deal. LOL

What’s kind of camera stuff going in your camera bag when you travel?

I saw the tripod and was like either she and CDub will be having a GREAT time or she's taking too much but your reason makes so much sense! Yes! Get the lens when you can, it's great! I really need to get a waterproof camera :-( my big girl in the Bahamas was a little nerve wracking. Can't wait to see your pics!!
