A Tour.

We went on a tour at the hospital I am going to deliver at.  C-Dub thought this was crazy for a variety of reasons:

It’s Sunday.

Football is on.

It’s raining cats and dogs outside.

And last but not least, I used to work there.

Yes, it does sound a bit crazy that I would want to tour a place that I used to work at, but I figured C-Dub needed to go and hear all of that info.  He always thinks that I am exaggerating or leaving something out.  I wanted him to hear everything from the horse’s mouth.

And besides, I couldn’t quite remember how the post partum rooms looked and their rules and regulations.

AND they are doing so much construction over there, that I wanted to make sure we knew where to go before I am in labor and can barely think straight.

There are also lots of new H1N1 rules:

No one under 18,

3 visitors at all time on L&D,

4 Visitors on Postpartum,

No one with flu like symptoms is allowed.

They even screened us today before they let us upstairs on the tour!

All in all, it was informative, and I got some info on the breastfeeding class, which I need to sign up for this week.  And wouldn’t you know it,

I’m still in the system there, so I can get my old employee discount.

Well, that’s all for today, going to cook dinner now!
