Books on My Nightstand This Month

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I read a lot of books.  Someone asked me a few weeks ago what books am I  reading and if I could make a list. I’m one of those folks who read more than one book at a time. And sometimes I take longer to read books than I planned. So my list for November is diverse and some are a carry over from last month because I got distracted and didn’t finish. Some are more visual and that takes me more time to get through because looking at photos for me is like reading a long essay because I’m trying to read the story in every photo.

Anyway, here is what’s on my bedside table this month.

1.  Have You Met Nora Nicole Blades

2. Braving the Wilderness Brene Brown

3. Obama: An Intimate Portrait Pete Souza

4. Song of Solomon Toni Morrison

5. The Hate You Give Angie Thomas

6. My Brown Babies: On the Joys and Challenges of Raising African American Children

7. Prince: A Private View Afshin Shahidi

Have you read any of these? What are you reading this month?

I haven't read any of these, but the Pete Souza book is one I'm absolutely eyeing. I almost bought it the other day but held off - I am waiting for a bigger B&N coupon! ;)
