iPhoneography: The TouchRetouch App

Iphoneography- Using the touch retouch app to edit photos on your iphone photos

You know those times when you take a photo with your phone and there is that annoying toy in the background that keeps drawing your eye, or that person who photobombed you? Don’t you want to get rid of it?

Enter the TouchRetouch app.

When I discovered this app, I felt like I had died and gone to iPhoneography heaven.

Sometimes, items in the background of your photos helps you to tell the story. But sometimes, getting rid of distractions in your photo sometimes makes a better photo.

Take this photo below that I took last week in San Francisco of the Bay Bridge.

Before
I was happy with this photo. I pulled it into the VSCO app and edited there and was scanning my photo for anything else and noticed the strip of the bridge at the bottom of the photo.

Now, to me, this was a distraction. All that water and a pretty photo then…..

I pulled the photo into The Touch Retouch app

App
The app works like photoshop in that you can use a lasso tool( the first tool on the bottom) or the brush tool. I prefer the brush tool. So I click the brush tool and use my finger to slide across the little concrete wall…

Apply

And then hit the little start button. And my finished product…….

After
Easy Peasy. Isn’t that neat? This app is definitely one of my favorite tools in my iPhoneography toolbox. And for 99 cents, it is well worth it!

**I was not paid to do a review of this app. I just like it and think everyone should know about it!**
