Mama Knows Best….Most of the Time….

surprise

Soooo, after all my ranting and raving about what I wasn’t going to do with Pookah in terms of potty training, and after all the fuss and defiance with his teachers,  I can say….

I have had to eat my words. *Bowing head in shame*

It seems, the daycare’s method is working.

Pookah has been dry( except for one incident Sunday during Mickey Mouse Club) for 6 days in a row.  His daycare reports that he will tell them when he has to go to the bathroom. Not so much at home, but we get him there and he STAYS dry! AND he poops in the potty!!!!!!!!!

I guess being in wet underwear didn’t agree with him. He likes to say “I’m still dry Mommy.” Or when he poops..”I did it I did it!!!”

I’m stunned….just stunned…..

But it just prooves a point to me.

I don’t know everything….yet.

Hey, we live and we learn. I'm happy that he's getting the hang of it. Cross your fingers for me. I'm going to start potty training the twins next week. This is my 95778 attempt.

It's good news that he's staying dry. We don't know everything, and we try our best with the cards we are given. At the end of the day, he's still dry and happy about it.
