Nurture Photography: Spring: where are you?

Spring, has not sprung.

It’s hiding from us around here.  Today is the beginning of the Nurture Photography Spring challenge, and I thought that I would have nothing to offer. My poor macro lens just going to waste. Waiting, desperate to be used.

But late last week, it was a warm and I noticed a bush thinking about blooming in my back yard…..

The next day, I came back…..

And the next day, finally, on Easter, there was a bloom….

Ahhh, I hope it survives the cold temps tonight…..

Oh, I love these shots! I'm dreaming of the day when I can get enough "fun" money to buy a Macro lens. Where did you get yours?

I got my 100mm off of Amazon. It's the only brand new lens I've ever owned. All of the others I got off of Clickin Moms or friends :-)

I love the progression in your photos! I just noticed yesterday that the leaves on our pear tree literally popped out overnight! One day just buds, the next it had tons of big, bright green leaves. Nature is amazing.

The weather is such a fickle thing. We had temperatures in the 80s yesterday, and today it is on the verge of frost. I am so sad for our fruit trees. They are young, and will most likely not bare fruit, but I would love to seem them in full blossom. What a lovely Easter treat you had;)

Aww, hang in there! Many feel your pain. It's coming, I promise. Way to keep your eyes open! Beautiful captures!
