Howl-O-Ween at Great Wolf Lodge

Thank you Great Wolf Lodge for hosting us at Great Wolf Lodge Atlanta! All opinions are my own.

Pookah has been demanding a trip to Great Wolf Lodge in Lagrange Georgia, ever since they opened.  It’s about an hour from us, so an easy roadtrip from Atlanta.  So when we got an invite to visit to check out its Annual Howl-O-Ween celebration, we jumped at the chance!  

We had so much fun!

Pookah is a water park junkie, so this place was his dream.  I know a lot of you asked me about our stay, so I’m going to answer a few questions about this post and particularly about the Howl-O-Ween Celebration. 

Our Rooms

The rooms were so spacious! Ours had two Queen sized beds, a pull out couch,  AND a table with two chairs for eating.   So this room could have easily slept 4-5 people depending on the size of your family. 

It was perfect for our needs and the beds were comfortable.

The Activities

OMG there was so much to do besides the water park! 

From a Rock climbing wall to Miniature Golf, to fun at the Arcade,  bowling AND a Magi Quest that resulted in my getting in my 10K steps, there was plenty to do! 

The Food

You will not go hungry! And for us allergy fmilies, Great Wolf Lodge did an EXCELLENT job with catering to food allergies!  

I loved how when we ordered, we got to speak to a chef about what was available and what was safe to eat. Pookah was able to get all of his favorites: pancakes, pizza, cheeseburgers and ice cream!

The Water Park

There is a wave pool, there is a lazy river, water slides, water basketball, an area for the little kids and more.

Pookah lived in the lazy river and playing water basketball with new friends. 

The Howl-O-Ween Celebration

Taking place from October 1-31st this year, this was so much fun! During Howl-O-Ween, guests can partake in complimentary programs including Twisted & Tangled, where children follow the spinner and try to stay on their feet to get a treat and be declared the winner. Guests can also enjoy Boo Bingo where five in a row gets them a bingo and yelling “boo” is the winning lingo. 

There was a monster bash dance paty, crafting projects, AND a trick-or-treat trail where all the kids ( and parents) are encouraged to put on a costume and join in the fun!

Other highlights of Howl-O-Ween include: 

• Candy Corn Guessing Contest:  Everyone can take a chance and guess how many Candy Corn are in a huge jar at the front desk! Guesses witll be collected throughout Howl-O-Ween. The guest closest to the correct number without going over will win a Great Wolf Gift Card. 
• Character Meet, Greet & Treat: You can meet and get a photo with Wiley during the fun!

In addition to two days of play in the water park for each night stayed at Great Wolf Lodge, all the Howl- O-Ween activities are included for no extra charge. Activities will vary daily and by location. You can find a  complete listing of daily activities and times in the Lodge Life event schedule provided to every guest when you check-in.
