- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp culinary lavender
Combine 1/2 cup water, sugar, honey and lavender in a small
saucepan.
Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Simmer for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and let steep, about 25 minutes.
Pour through a strainer to remove lavender
Add 2 cups cold water to strained syrup, mix well, and pour
into popsicle molds
Insert sticks and freeze for 6-8 hours (preferably
overnight).
Use culinary lavender for cooking and baking.
To store wrap each in wax paper and store in a freezer bag.
You can also wrap them in food safe plastic bags (from craft stores) and store
in ziplock bags.
