Lavender Lemonade Popsicles

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp culinary lavender

Instructions

  • Combine 1/2 cup water, sugar, honey and lavender in a small
    saucepan.


  • Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.


  • Simmer for 1 minute.


  • Remove from heat and let steep, about 25 minutes.


  • Pour through a strainer to remove lavender


  • Add 2 cups cold water to strained syrup, mix well, and pour
    into popsicle molds


  • Insert sticks and freeze for 6-8 hours (preferably
    overnight).


Notes

Use culinary lavender for cooking and baking.
To store wrap each in wax paper and store in a freezer bag.
You can also wrap them in food safe plastic bags (from craft stores) and store
in ziplock bags.
