31 weeks

Today I am 31 weeks.

Yay for us!

What IN:

Flu Shot: Yes, I got one today at my local Walgreens.  Do you know they make you bring in a note from your doctor saying it’s alright for you to get one?  Well, it didn’t hurt at all, and I took some Tylenol afterwards to get rid of that achy feeling that always comes after a flu shot.    I’m still not sure if I am going to get the swine flu one or not. Hmmmmmmmm.

Heartburn: It is here. It is nasty, it is painful, it is unrelieved by Tums, and all other meds.  This boy had better have a head full of hair.

Vivid dreams about the baby: Last night I had one where I was breastfeeding, and then someone gave him a bottle shaped like a straw.  Then he wouldn’t breastfeed anymore!!!  Yes, I am obsessed with breastfeeding.  And he was soooooooooo CUTE!

Gifts: They have started to arrive.  My sister in law sent me some stuff, and C-Dub’s best friend’s ex-wife is getting ready to send me some stuff that her son just never got around to using.  C-Dub can’t stand her, but hey, she’s giving us FREE stuff.  FREE.  Nuff said

Shortness of Breath: I get winded going to the damn mailbox.  It doesn’t help that it decided to get hot again today.

Braxton Hicks: These damn things hurt sometimes!

What’s OUT:

Bending over: My Bell-ah is in the way.

Leaning over: My Bell-ah is in the way.

Rolling over: My Bell-ah is in the way.

Working: I give up.  Judging on the naps I take everyday, the shortness of breath, the heartburn, and the horror stories I am hearing from co-workers who are still there about the increased workload…..I should be grateful and feel blessed that they laid me off. 

Ummmm….yeah.

Going out of the house much: I spend money when I do.  And I don’t have any money!
