Does anyone have the answer?
OK, question everyone.
When does the 2nd trimester officially begin? I know, I know, I am a nurse, I should know these things, but dag on it, I am confused. Too much information, too many websites, too many books.
Does it start at
A)12 weeks
B)13 weeks
C) 14 weeks
Somebody. Anybody. Put me out of my misery.
Congrats on almost making it through the first trimester! How exciting!
I wish I had an answer, but I am still really early. (About 4.5 weeks) I have a hard time thinking about the first trimester, much less the second trimester!
12 weeks. Each trimester last 12ish weeks/3 months. Trimester is left over from when they still thought pg lasted 9 months. They LIE!!! ALL LIES!!!
I went with 13 weeks, because some things say 12 weeks and some say 13. So I figured 13 was safe. And 14 seemed too far:-)
My view was 14 weeks, being conservative. Mathematically, I would say it is 13 and 1/3 weeks, which is 40 weeks divided by 3. I just rounded that up to 14. But 13 is probably close enough-
13 1/3 like SS said. Congrats again.. I am 36 weeks and ready to have it all over.
