I want my baby back

Pookah is still sick.

It will be a week tomorrow.

He seems to get better, then he will vomit or have massive diarrhea.

I was going to go to the doctor this morning, but after a massive(and I mean massive) amount of diarrhea after his am bottle,  he’s been fine.  He’s been running around, laughing, smiling, talking. 

And refusing to eat.

Let me repeat.

Refusing to eat.

I almost have to force feed him to get that first bite down.  Usually after about the 4th or 5th time, he eats.  But then, only a little.  I got down 2/3 of a jar of bananas this morning and was like HALLELUJAH!

I added in the probiotic the pediatrician and everyone else I know is gung ho on. He’s been on it since Tuesday, and I really don’t see the difference.  Maybe it needs a few days to kick in???

At any rate, I’m tired of waiting in dread for him to vomit or fill up a diaper.  I’m tired of seeing him so drained after he vomits.  I’m tired of that very red and raw bottom after several poops in a row.  I’m just tired of seeing my baby tired.

I miss that constant sunny smile.

I want my baby back.
