Post Op
So, surgery, is over.
Done.
I am fixed.
But far from healed.
To be frank, it hurts like a son of a bitch.
I’ve got my pain meds, my antibiotics and various other meds all lined up on my counter.
And a foley bag attached to my leg.
It’s weird watching the urine just collect in the bag and having no recollection of doing it.
Pookah, has been acting out.
Crying, hitting, whining, throwing things.
I think he misses his mommy.
I’ll be seeing him soon, but I can’t pick up anything over 10 pounds. :(.
I want to send him to daycare tomorrow too, but he might be a little clingy.
We’ll see.
Well, I’ve got the next 3 weeks to recuporate. Well, 2 1/2 really. Since C-Dub decided that while I’m off we should drive 6 hours to see his mother for her birthday.
*silence*
Moving on!
I’m glad my mom is here. I don’t know what I would do without her.
At least I’ll get SOME rest.
I’m glad everything went well! Pookah will be ok, make sure you follow your recovery orders so you can heal properly, lol!
Oh and….about that car trip…GIRL. #sideeye

Get plenty of rest, Pookah will be perfectly fine at school tomorrow, take it easy and you two can cuddle all weekend long. 🙂
And, Moms are great, glad yours is there to help you. Hubs and go by himself to see his Momma 🙂 unless you’re really wanting to go.

Glad everything went well!!! Make sure you stick to the antibiotics and don’t be a typical nurse/doctor patient lol. Awww Pookah, funny how they change once mom is out of the picture but he’ll be fine. So umm, I’m gonna go out there and say uhhh 6hr road trip + healing body=NO! lol Get Well Soon!
Take it from someone who had two surgeries in the last year: take it easy and put your recovery first. It will be better for you and your entire family in the long run. Wishing you well. 🙂
Glad to hear that surgery went well! Take it easy and enjoy the time that your mother is there. I’m sure Pookah does miss you, but he’ll be ok and he and grandma will develop a great bond.
