Shredding….

Life has been really hectic in the last 4 months:

  1.  Christmas
  2. We moved
  3. Pookah got sick
  4. I got a new job

So umm, I tried to put on my “skinny” jeans the week before last for casual Friday and ummm……

So yeah. I need to loose some weight.

I stepped on the scale on Sunday morning, which was the start of my new “lifestyle” change, and almost fainted.

And hell no, ain’t no way you getting me to put that number out there in public.

So anyhoo, I had been seeing Amber on instagram and facebook talking about #Shred and I thought it might work. I enlisted CDub whose 6 pack has turned into a….well lets just say it’s not a 6 pack anymore.

So Saturday, I sat down, made our menu for the week and went to the grocery store and spent a lot of money on healthy food choices.

The new gym near us JUST opened up on Saturday ironically, so we are going to head over there and get real familiar.

Cause ummmm, my birthday is in 4 weeks, I’ve got to be in a bathing suit twice this summer, and I’ll be damned if I buy clothes a size bigger!!

Sooooo. Wish me luck…….

  1. Good luck to ya. I do things month by month and it has helped me to stick to a plan. This month I am drinking more water and so far so good. Thankfully I don’t gain any weight which is strange…I just don’t lose I have been the same weight for about a year…..I thought the scale was broken but I have been on 5 different ones and it’s the same weight give or take one lb

  2. Good luck girl! I have a friend who is getting married early next year, and she is doing Dr. Ian’s shred. I browsed her book, and it looks like it is pretty easy to follow. Make it happen!
