The Hair
Yeah. The Hair.
Remember that? I started locs approximately 11 days ago.
It’s frizzy.
It’s fuzzy.
Some of the coils in the back are unraveling.
I’m having a hard time not washing my hair. ( But she did tell me I can wash it (with very special instructions) at 2 weeks. That is 3 days from now.
But I have been keeping my scalp clean with a Sea Breeze/Listerine mixture.
All in all, it’s very convenient.
If I have to run out really quickly, I take off my scarf, run my fingers through it and go.
I’m still in love with my hair………………………
A lot of my friends that went locked had the same things happen and this is was how most of them learned to twist them themselves. Hang in there if you really like it!
I started locs last year and kept them for about 6 months. I was not a good girl. I washed my hair at least every other day & I’m a stylist but I’m totally against unhealthy scalp. The first few months are the hardest. Hang in there!
