Weekend Wrap Up

I’m a little late posting today, but the parents were here this weekend and C-Dub and I actually got to go out last night!

Woo Hoo!

It was a nice weekend, we barbecued on Saturday night and Sunday was just a lazy day filled with fun and family.

Pookah loves his grandparents.  Especially since they seem to have endless energy and time to play with him.

But the pollen this weekend was off the chain!

And my poor Pookah bear was a victim!  I got his allergy medicine on board by Sunday so that helped a bit, by OMG! It was everywhere. And since it was so nice, the boy still wanted to go outside. And that leads to stuffy noses, runny eyes  and puffy eyes that you see in the photo above.

But we survived.

It was acutally my mother who said, you and C-Dub need to go out while we are here.

YESSSSS, we dooooo.

So, I bathed the boy, kissed him bye and we left. Pookah  could have cared less.  My teenage female cousins came over and he didn’t even care about us.  It was ALL about them.  Perfect timing.

We went to a Japanese Steak house over here by the house.

It’s not Benihana, but it was good.

Of course, I had to get a fruity alcoholic beverage…

And the food was good….

And of course that child was still awake when we got home around 1030.

My parents left this morning, but they’ll be back in May so that CDub and I  can go to a New Edition concert..( yes…..that’s right…New Edition…)

So that was my weekend, how was yours?
