Weekending
How was your weekend?
Our weekend around here was unexpectedly busy. I had plans( as I always do) to do absolutely nothing.
Wait I take that back.
I had plans to clean, write posts, take some photos for a post and maybe venture out to the park on one of the two days.
Yeah, none of that happened.
Pookah and I eneded up at an improptu spinkler party and his besties while Mama enjoyed cheap wine and Mike’s Hard Lemonade in Mango flavor.
He had fun and we didn’t get home until waaaaay past his bedtime.
Which earned me a 8 13 am wake up call.

Sunday, I got talked into a birthday party at the pool.
Again, fun times for Pookah until he scraped up his knees on the bottom of the kiddie pool and had a “I’m so damn tired but I still want to play ” meltdown.
I got him home and preceeded to spend the next hour of my life sitting in the car because I DONT WAKE A SLEEPING CHILD.
Finally, I had to wake him up because if I didn’t, he would have NEVER gone to bed that night.
And of course, nothing got done around the house.
I frantically washed clothes for Monday, grocery shopped and attemted to clean the chaos that is my house every weekend.
Sigh.
At least Pookah had fun…..
How was your weekend?
I didn’t do too much this weekend. The city was in chaos as every was preparing for Ramadan. The malls, stores, and just everywhere was packed to the brim. I looked at my lists for packing and did none of it. 🙂
I had a quiet weekend. Sunday I had to run all over the place meeting people for my first event other than that I had a good one. Love sprinklers I need to invest in a cheap one.
I want that sprinkler! My kids are loving the water table they’d go crazy for that sprinkler!
8:13?! omg even when I put them to bed past their bedtime the baby wakes with the sun. IT DRIVES ME NUTS. Nice busy weekend. I was a ways from you in Savannah! Looking forward to chillin this weekend for sure 🙂 see you this month!! 🙂
