Weekending

How was your weekend?

I loved the long weekend. Really really loved it.

We hung out on Saturday, went to the park, barbecued, napped.

Sunday, I had the pleasure of hanging out with the lovely ladies of Each One Teach one ATL. The wonderful Ronnie Tyler of Blackandmarriedwithkids.com came and spoke to our group and gave us many pearls of wisdom and encouragement. Which is sometimes, just what you need.

It’s amazing to me how being inspired can lead to so many ideas and thoughts and plans. I have plans ya’ll! LOL I’m finally finally going to have the guts to put some of them in action. So stay tuned. I’m like a snail, I’ll get there one day! LOL

Monday, i worked on getting my house in order for the week, cleaning, napping, shopping, napping, shopping, cleaning…you know the drill.

It’s going to be a short work week ( hallelujah!) with Pookah’s pre-k graduation on Friday.

I’m NOT READY! LOL

How was your holiday weekend? What gets you inspired? Any plans you want to share??

This sounds like my kind of event! I am inspired by all the women who are stepping out and trying something different. I really do like to see people do things that make them happy. It inspires me to keep going on my journey!

Looks and sounds like a wonderful weekend. You ladies look great in that picture. I'm learning it's ok to take my time and go at a pace that fits with my life and schedule. I don't have anything going on business or work related, but I have some personal things that I'm working on. I think I've finally found a way to tackle it that will work for me and my family. Nothing beats feeling like you can do something you once thought was impossible!

Get ready for the graduation. I had a wonderful time and thank you for making me stay. I am revamping things as we speak for Kokoa and my business so I am excited. Time goes fast but pace yourself and things will get done.

I think I realize that timing is everything. When I get it in my mind that I want to do something and when the time is right it's not work. If it feels like work in my mind it isn't time or all of the resources I need aren't in place.

I'm learning to be patient and go at my own pace. A little at a time wins the race!
