Soooooo, I took the plunge.
I had been wanting to get to BRU just to check out some bedding for the nursery. That way, I could go ahead and pick out the paint for the nursery. The Mrs had just asked me when I was going to register. I was putting it off really. Registering seemed too……I don’t know. I’m still superstitious. I was going to wait until 25 weeks. Right after my next OB appointment. But suddenly, C-Dub was guiding me to the registry desk, and I was filling out the forms and I had a scanner in hand.
Just that quickly, I had been bamboozled!
I think C-Dub had been plotting to get me there.
It was…………interesting. Almost fun.
It started off slow.
Medela Breastpump……
Medela assessories……
Bopppy…….
Monitors…..Travel Systems…….Bedding…..CLOTHES…..OMG!!!!!!!
I didn’t really register for much.
REALLY.
Just the basics.
And some fun stuff that C-Dub and I thought was just too cute to pass up.
But I had to leave before I hyperventilated. Plus, my toes were once again the size of vienna sausages and my ankles were following.
And then today, I went and started a baby registry at Target.
Madness really.
And did you know you can add stuff online? From home? From the couch??????
Now I feel like I am obsessed with baby things. Why is there so much stuff for someone who just eat sleeps and poops for the first 6 weeks of his life?

I found that most of the stuff was stuff that made mom's life easier. I'm kinda liking that idea. I figure I'll be recovering, unable to rest, and nursing all at once. Anything to make life easier sounds great. Anyone know where Alice from the Brady Bunch lives?
