Exactly one year ago today, on November 26, 2008, I lost my first pregnancy, my first chance to be a Mommy. 

I was devastated, disillusioned, convinced that God and the world was against me.

What a difference a year makes.

Today, I gave birth to a beautiful wonderful blessing, and became a Mommy.

I am in awe, I am thankful, I am grateful, I am amazed.

My son is here.

He is beautiful, I am in love, truly,fully  for the first time in my life.

  3. Congrats! Happy Birthday sweet Baby Boy. What a wonderful gift on Thanksgiving…Are you sharing his name? Love his round little face. Enjoy these moments of him being so tiny. They grow so fast…..

  9. Congratulations Mommy! He’s beautiful!!! Strange how life heals us sometimes. I found out I lost a baby on 10/21/09…gave birth to premature twins on 10/25/09….it’s there and you love them all the more!!! Congratulations again.

  11. Congratulations! I just found your blog and it is really helping me. I am going exactly what you were going through a year ago—first pregnancy and had to have a D&C just last week. I remember telling my husband that if all goes well the second time around, we could be having a baby next year at this time…. and then I found your blog which was exactly like that! It gives me hope that we’ll have a baby in our arms in one year from now. Congrats again!
