Documenting Our Lives.
And we have another case of Pink Eye over here. Nasty a.. daycare! I’m so hot I don’t know what to do! I had to take off of work yesterday and I really don’t have any time off! I’m never going to be able to go on vacation at this rate! I’ll use up all my days! SIGH.
This is the downside of working M-F I suppose. Cause what do you do when your child is sick? I need an emergency babysitter that’s what.
But that’s all. I’m just frustrated. These last months have been hard on my boy, I just want him to be happy and healthy ALL the time! This winter/spring has been brutal on him.
Of course, he’s been a trooper. We did a lot of playing yesterday. And I got him to pose for a few photos. Normally, I wouldn’t take a photo of him looking anything less than perfect. 🙂
But I’ve been thinking. My main reason for learning to take better photos was to document our lives. And our lives are not perfect. My house is not always clean. Pookah might have on the same shirt in every photo( his favorite tomas shirt). And Pookah might have Pink Eye. And I want a record of everything, even that.
So, I lined Pookah up and interviewed him while taking his picture. Because I want to remember years from now, what he looked like. Even with Pink Eye.
I love the realism. It’s so true, sometimes we want everything to be perfect for a photo and those conditions cannot always be met. I think Pookah is cute, pink eye or not. It’s great to be a kid again, even if we do get sick a little.
Awww he was a trooper I hope he is all better now. Documenting your life is the way to go. I hate daycares someone needs to start a personal nanny service of some kind

He is precious…pink eye and all! My four year old nephew has had it rough these past few months too. His eardrum busted today, and he had plugs put in them just two months ago…poor baby. I hope your little one feels better soon!
You’re right we have to catch it all the good, the bad and the pink eye. Pink eye or not, looks like he was having fun.
He is still really cute despite the pink eye! I really hope he feels better soon, and I completely understand about vacation time being sucked up by sick children :/
