It’s Friday, que the angels singing!
I’ve had a rough week: dealing with Pookah having a bad cold, then me catching the cold of top of that.
And as we all know, when Mama is down, the rest of the house goes downhill. Last night, the kitchen was so bad that I had to appeal to the man of the house to PLEASE take care of it. PLEASE.
My kitchen was spotless when I woke up this morning.
I finished up my 10 day Green Smoothie cleanse. I lost a total of 7 pounds. It remains to be seen, as I go back to eating normally, if that was water weight or what. But I do feel lighter and I am not as bloated or heavy. It’s not something I would do all the time, or even that long again. But I would consider it again in a modified version.
I just finished working out today and I’m trying to make it a habit again. My back has been hurting and stiff all week and I know that one of the main reasons for that is lack of activity. So cold and all, I got on my elliptical this morning and worked out. Because…well it’s necessary. I’m going to be trying to eat healthier too. Because diets really just don’t work for me. I diet, then go back to eating the same as before. So no. I’m on a eat healthy mission. One day, one meal at a time. With exercise. That’s all I can do.
I’m still off of coffee( for now), but I did venture into Starbucks yesterday to try Oprah’s Chai. I love Chai tea. Normally. But Oprah’s Chai? I’ll pass.
It’s mother’s day this Sunday,so Happy Mother’s Day to all of you wonderful Mom’s who read my site. May your day be filled with sleeping in, going to the bathroom by yourself, feeling the love of your children and eating a meal that you didn’t have to cook.
