I Did Nothing this Weekend…And You?????

Happy Easter Monday!

How was your Easter?

We had an OK Easter over here. I didn’t go to church ( head hung in shame).  But my dinner was finished by 11 am.

I had coffee. GLORIOUS Starbucks coffee using my new Keurig.

Pookah was in a bad mood all day  He either screamed no or started crying at the drop of a hat. SMH. Don’t know what was up with that.

( sorry about the quality of the photo. Straight from my phone…..)

I was supposed to go easter egg hunting over at Mogul Making Mom’s house around 1 pm.  But I worked Friday night and when I woke up Saturday afternoon…… well, Pookah and C Dub were gone and it was after 3….

Sad, because the wanna be easter egg hunt that I organized in my back yard was….sad. LOL. But since Pookah didn’t know any better, he enjoyed himself. And please PLEASE excuse the uncoordinated outfit my child has on. These are really snapshots. And his Daddy dressed him….

Other than that, we sat around, ate, played with Pookah.  Did nothing really.

How about you?

I might have to start going to bedside baptist a little more. i really want to go to my church, but I hate leaving an hour early for 930 service when I live right around the corner because it’s so crowded. Sigh. I need to find new church home….

“The Sequel” left early on Saturday evening. It was a whirlwind of a visit so I, too, am hanging my head in shame because I didn’t get to Easter Sunday service. Sigh. The Lord knows I was completely exhausted. After running around Manhattan for 2 1/2 days, Sunday was truly a day of rest (and so is Monday). The little man looked like my niece and nephew: when they weren’t shedding tears, they were happy when fed, especially after having a little sugar. Sweets fixes almost everything.

Jas was in a shitty mood yesterday too. I don’t know what that was all about. We had a good day overall. Went to church, hung out with the fam after then went to see daddy off before he drove the 8hrs back to work and jas crying because she wanted to go with him. I’ll be blogging about my weekend later

Sounds a great weekend, except for the cranky Pookah. I hope he’s back to his smiley self today.

We love our Keurig here. Nice fresh coffee all day long. 🙂

P.S. Did you check little man’s ears? My babies are super cranky with ear aches but don’t show many other signs (ie. no fever or ear tugging.)

our weekend was crazy packed! we did an Easter egg hunt at home too. Out of the three he had, the one at home was our favorite. I bet Pookah loved his too!!

Funny, I always give a disclaimer when my husband dresses our son too!
