Kids Were Here: January
I cleaned the house the night before. I was off on Friday and I was excited about not doing anything at all the whole day. I woke up, dropped Pookah off at school and came back to a clean, quiet, house. I made a cup of coffee, sat down and saw this….

Yes, I belong to way too many blog circles. But I have wanted to participate in a Kids Were Here Blog Circle for some time now. It’a a monthly photography project that helps to remind us what life with kids looks like. Because really, it’s the little things. So every month, my circle and I will be giving you a glimpse of what our lives with kids looks like. We’ll show you the evidence that the kids were here.
Please continue with our Kids Were Here Blog Circle with Danielle at A Little Bit Country Studio
Enjoy!
Very nice! Perfect depth of field and I really like how your colorful processing makes the toy pop 🙂
This is a fabulous picture and a wonderful post! Missy
Makes me wonder what he was doing before you got into the room. 🙂
Awesome shot! These are the things I am going to miss the most when my children move away. The small pieces that show that they are there.
Great shot. It is crazy how you think you cleaned up so well and then you find something right after. Kids are so fast to move things.
Lovely shot, LaShawn! There is something of the depth of field and the angle of the shot that is perfection. I looking forward to seeing more of your Kids Were Here captures each month. 🙂
I feel like I was right there with you enjoying a cup of coffee. Love this photo. 🙂
thanks you so much!!
This is very helpful for me trying to catch images of classes. Instead on phone pictures, I need to use the real camera. Thx!
Disregard this comment, I got my post mixed up!
Nice shot!
You are welcome!
Great shot! I know that these little moments are the ones that matter the most. It will all be a memory soon.
