On Sickness and Short Weekends….
Pookah was sick last week from about Tuesday night until Saturday morning with the croup. Oh yeah, middle of the night awakenings when it sounds like your child is barking up a lung with a fever….good times……
So, it was my turn to stay home with him. Soooo, I didn’t go to work last week……..
Yeah. I’m sure I’ll have a talk with my manager sometime today.
But anyway, my weekend was short. We only had Saturday to run around and it was a busy day. We looked at a house that had potential. Until we got inside and saw the bad remodel job. Sigh. It was the perfect neighborhood IN TOWN. I would have been 8 minutes door to door to my job. *shakes fist at sky*
Ok, anyway, afterwards, we wanted to take Pookah to a pumpkin patch, but couldn’t find one that wasn’t at least an hour away. We ended up at Stone Mountain because they are having their pumpkin festival. And Pookah wanted pumpkins.
Ummmmm, there was almost NOTHING that would be good for a 2/3 year old. No pumpkin patch, just a bunch of pumpkin displays to take photos by and a bunch of “rides” that Pookah was too small for. I was not impressed.
And neither was CDub as you can see…
We did ride the train through…..
Pookah loved it.
And Sunday, I went to work. It was an OK day. But of course, I was feeling sick by now. And when I got home, CDub was looking pitiful too. SMH.
He was happy as usual. (And the eczema on his forehead is healing well!)
Sigh.
How was your weekend?
Let me go ahead and scratch Stone Mountain off the list for stuff. I just can’t be paying to park that’s my hang up about them. Happy house hunting and hope you feel better soon.
Great photos AS USUAL! Sucks that there wasn’t anything for pookah to do at the pumpkin patch, maybe next year it will be better.
I hope both you and cdub feel better! Good luck with your house hunt! Keep your eyes peeled everyday because you never know when that one house will come on the market!
It’s never ending, good luck on your talk with the boss and house hunting. I hope you and C-Dub don’t get sick.
Those pumpkin/fall festival places are always so far aren’t they? Love Pookah’s smile!
He is so adorb! What are you using on his eczema? Shea moist baby eczema soap is good.
He is such a sweetheart! Good luck with the house hunting, hope u and the Mr are feeling better
