Post Processing: Which One?
Post processing can make or break a photo.
Personally, I like to use post processing to enhance a photo, or to help to tell the story that I’m trying to tell.
But sometimes I take a photo and I can’t decide which conversion I like better.
The Color Version?
Or the Black and White?
Both photos were processed using Lightroom.
Taken with Canon 7D and Canon 100mm 2.8 Macro Lens
Settings: Shutter Speed 1/250 Aperture: f/3.2 ISO:400

Which one do you like better?

The color for sure. There’s not enough contrast in the b&w version for me.
Yes! My first conversion to b&w had a lot of contrast but it made the photo moodier than I wanted!
I like the color photo. The speckles of green are dope!
The color one but then again I like the black and white. Hard choice I do black and white if the sun is way to much but the subject is giving an excellent pose but what do I know
I usually like my black and whites with a lot of light. But this makes the picture kind of moody. Because it was already in the shade and the b&w just emphasized the shadows
My favorite in the color. I do love the way the green pops. The black and while makes me sad. Feels like it’s the story of Pookah and his favorite ball… but the story doesn’t end well.
I like the color picture better. The b&w is too dark.
i’m really into black and white right now, but i like this better in color.
I’m obsessed with black and white do I try s conversion with every photo! But I like the color version better here too.
I’m the odd ball. I love the B&W one.
