You know, it’s so interesting to me how I have to practically drag my child out of bed during the week to get to camp on time. If I let him, he would sleep until 830 , 9 o’clock. And will refuse breakfast! But come Saturday morning, at the FIRST sign of light, he is awake…..asking for food. SMH.
So I got up. Fixed us some Kitchen sink eggs: I go in the fridge, grab what ever is there and make some eggs. Saturday morning that was shiitake mushrooms, an onion and a mozzarella cheese mix I use for pasta.
Afterwards, I escaped my little buddy by telling him that I was going to the store to buy some girly stuff. He declined, choosing to stay home and wrestle with his Daddy while I enjoyed early morning retail therapy and Starbucks.
I took him to Target when I got back and let him choose at 82 cent hot wheel. It’s so easy to satisfy a little boy.
Later on, we checked out Ted’s new gluten-free buns and Pookah had his first hamburger. Ever. I mean EVER.
And all that bread gave my little buddy the itis. LOL
So that was Saturday.
Enjoy.
