Stream of Consciousness Sunday

I decided to do a Stream of Consciousness Post for today. Set a timer for 5 minutes, and write.

STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS SUNDAY

I am home from Blogalicious.

And just like that, life is back to normal.

Pookah is kinda, sorta sick.

His Daddy is off to play golf( I don’t blame him, it’s been 4 days of nothing but him and the boy).

Nothing like family to bring you back to earth!

So I shed that entrepreneur, be great, I can do all of the things woman,

And put back on my Mommy hat.

And realized that I never took it off.

For the first few seconds after I walked in the door, I was overwhelmed and frazzled. Right back at that place I was before I left.

Before I paused.

Before I did something for me.

I took a deep breath, gathered myself,

And let go.

Because even though I had to tuck  superwoman/entrepreneur LaShawn in her little corner to be Super Mom/wife who does all of the things,

I reminded myself that I got this.

Superwoman LaShawn is still here. She’s not going anywhere.

We can both co-exist.
