Weekending: Fourth of July Edition
We spent the fourth of July at my Parents house, enjoying family, barbecuing and observing.
Pookah of course, had the time of his life. As usual. He is the apple of his grandparents eyes and he loves his cousins so …that’s all he needed.
It was good to be able to do little things for my mother like wash the dishes, make the beds, cook, etc…
I always feel guilty that I’m so far away and can’t help her with my father. I wish I could be in two places at one time, but of course, that can’t happen.
But she is making her own way, and determined to do it with minimal help. Despite my father being stubborn, despite everyone expecting her to fail.
But being with Pookah makes her so happy. And my Dad too. And he loves them right back.
So that was our weekend, family, fun, barbecue and relaxation.

Our weekend was pretty fun! We didn’t get any BBQ though. I’m jealous y’all got some grill time!
