When I was growing up, my mother always made sure that I had breakfast every morning. Even though she worked everyday as a teacher, she got up extra early each and every morning to make sure I got breakfast before school. That healthy habit has continued into adulthood, and  Cheerios helps me to do that.

Breakfast is often considered the most important meal of the day. Some studies also report that those who consume breakfast more frequently are more likely to have a healthy body weight.  So of course, since I am fighting my way back down to healthy body weight, I continue the tradition started by my mother and I have breakfast EVERY morning.  Working and getting Pookah ready for school, I don’t always have the time to cook something healthy for myself.   1. Cheerios are my go to snack. I love snacking on cereal and Cheerios is always satisfying. And a $2 off 1 coupon?!?! That’s unheard of! I am a coupon lover, so that is right up my alley!

  2. I love Cheerios, but as an adult I don’t eat them as much. They are mostly in our pantry as a snack for our toddler. But I sometimes still grab a handful while I’m filling up her bowl, and it reminds me of how GOOD they are!

  3. If I don’t eat any other meal, I have breakfast. During my childhood, we often had Cheerios because my mom was not a fan of sweet cereals. Now this post has me thinking about Cheerios again.

  4. I usually have a smoothie since I’m not a breakfast person. I do love to snack on Honey Nut Cheerios though when I can. I don’t keep them house since both kids have a peanut allergy, but whenever I stumble across the single servings when I’m out alone, I get it.
