So Summer is here, and Pookah has FINALLY started camp. Now that he is off to have fun every day, I can get back to my regular work schedule. BUT, I have decided that I am still going to make sure I schedule time in my week to do something for myself! I’m going to get back to taking time for myself at least once a week. I’m talking lunch by myself, meet-ups with friends, coffee shops solo… and I’m going to take myself to the movies.
BY MYSELF.
Listen, I don’t want to have to argue about milk duds vs skittles, or share my popcorn or argue about seeing the action flick vs the chick flick.
I’ve already chosen my first movie!
I’m going to check out Breaking In staring Gabrielle Union (She’s All That, 10 Things I hate About You, Bring it On), Billy Burke, Richard Cabral, Ajiona Alexus, Levi Meaden, and Seth Carr.
Directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta) Gabrielle Union stars as Shaun who finds herself under attack in the driveway while her kids are being held hostage in a house designed with impenetrable security. The movie follows Shaun as she attempts to break BACK into the house to get her kids. Look at the trailer!
First of all, I am a long time fan of Gabrielle Union, second, can you imagine if someone had your baby and you had to BREAK IN to get them? WOW! But remember, NOTHING can match a mama bear on a mission to get her kids back! I can’t wait to see how Gabrielle takes down the villains!
