Dear Pookah,
You are so…intent on your cars.
They go everywhere with you: you backpack to school, the ride to the park, your pockets on the walk to the store…..
They are the most important thing to you. They are your world.
Recent events in the news have made me fear for the time when I must break this innocence of yours and start teaching you about the real world. How you must act, how you must talk, how you must…..live.
But for now, you are just a 3, almost 4 year old boy. Who loves his cars
Stay that way. I love you,
Mommy.

He's so cute! I love the t-shirt. And the laughing shot is spectacular. Enjoy this time with your little man--I know I am with mine!

This is a great post. Love the pictures. Its sad that we eventually have to break that innocent. My son is 11 and we've already had to break it. He was very interested in the Trayvon Martin case and had so many questions as to why the verdict came out the way it did.
