I often get questions on how I balance being a full-time working mom, a wife and a blogger on this site. Well folks…it’s not easy. My day is a constant juggle between all of the aspects of my life. Yesterday, Pookah came home sick from school and I KNEW he wouldn’t be going to school today. So began the juggle.
While working from home is indeed a blessing, I can’t just STOP working each and every time Pookah gets sick. The show must go on. My day becomes a constant juggle between taking a meeting, playing a quick game of Uno with a sick BORED child, making phone calls, alternating Tylenol and Motrin, doing the endless paperwork that comes with my job, writing posts, cuddling, fixing soup and fish sticks…you can see the pattern here.
And of course, since I was caught unaware, I had to make a Target run on my lunch break to replenish my supply of Motrin and Tylenol.
Through all of this, if I don’t watch it, I will exist of endless cups of coffee all day, and never take or find the time to fix myself something to eat. On a day like this, I would be prone to eating junk all day…or nothing at all. I decided to pick up a few of the new LEAN CUISINE® MARKETPLACE line options. There are so many options made with organic ingredients as well as gluten-free options and protein packed options. Target has a great deal for $2 each ( there is a limited coupon too starting 1/3/15 right here in case you want a few) I made sure I got something to keep me going AND feed my husband later on since I knew this was going to be a marathon type of day.
And I was right. Pookah had me going ALL DAY. Between work and him , I barely had time to think, let alone make a meal. But the LEAN CUISINE® MARKETPLACE Sweet & Spicy Korean-Style Beef that I picked up at Target was PERFECT and gave me a much-needed boost around 3 pm.
I also picked up a few options for CDub because the choices are just endless……
At the end of the day, I was exhausted!! But grateful for the option to work AND be at home with Pookah AND eat a great tasting meal at the same time.

I need to grab a few of these. I am the worst at eating, simply because I'm lazy and I don't like to cook unless it is dinner. These will work, going to stick up on these.
