Saturdays( A Photography Project) BlogHer 15 Edition
We are a few days late on my Saturdays project because….jetlag. and the re-entry is hard….
Friday night, I was just EXHAUSTED. I had all the plans to go hangout, do karaoke, eat with friends and take my Canon around the big apple. BUT since I had been up since 3 am and had been running on nerves all day in preparation for my session, I CRASHED at around 9pm.
And woke up EXACTLY at 5am.
To say I was slightly pissed is an understatement. Here I was, alone in a hotel with the opportunity to sleep in and I woke up at FIVE AM?!?!
After tossing and turning a bit, I got on up and walked down to Times Square and played the tourist for a while.
Then came back and dived into BlogHer 15.
And THEN rushed to the airport and was back at home by midnight.
Again…..JETLAG.
My experience this time was different, in a really good way. And I’ll be sure to share all the ways it was later. But for now, here is my Saturday, (in iPhoneography,) the BlogHer15 edition.
Enjoy.
You just made me ache to go back to one of my favorite cities in the world. It has been about 10 years since I have been there but I am headed that way next week to work with Vanity Fair on a fun project. You just got me excited all over again.
Grrrllll!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE WE MISSED EACH OTHER!! Congratulations on your award it is definitely well deserved!
To say that I’m a hater of these photos and events are understatements. I’ve longed to attend BlogHer for the longest. Now that I’m in Abu Dhabi, I won’t ever be able to make it unless they move it to the end of July. 🙁 I’m loving all of the photography. I know you have other pictures too. May I request a photo journal of the weekend….like a pushy request.
Your photos are so beautiful! I feel like I’m there just looking at it. You must have had an awesome time.
I was following along your instagram and was loving all the photos. Looks like I missed a great event, hopefully I’ll be able to attend BlogHer next year. I look forward to your BlogHer post coming up.
Your pictures are beautiful and I miss spending time in the big city. You have a nice peaceful quality to your photos, yet they show the hustle and bustle of every day life. I think you did a great job of capturing your experience and thank you for sharing.
Love every single pic. Your photos are well fitting for any popular mainstream publication. Keep on shining!
Your photos are beautiful and give such an interesting look into BlogHer. Very, very cool. You are very talented.
That sounds like an amazing event. BlogHer is very popular and I’m sure you all had a wonderful time. I have never been to New York and your photos are fabulous. Thanks for the tour!
Such amazing photographs. I wish I had this kind of skill. What a beautiful way to capture life memories.
These photos are the best eye candies that I have seen today. I really love how you see things and the fact that you always share them to us. That way, we get to see the beautiful things in the world through your eyes and camera.
Blog Her was such an amazing experience, I am so glad this conference was the same time zone. I think early morning was a great way to see the city. Your photos from that day turned out amazing.
The photos are clean and crisp and the angles of which they were taken looked interesting. Did you use only an iPhone to capture these shots? Which iPhone was it? I love seeing all these great views in the city.
I just got home from Haven and these conferences are so much fun but yes exhausting. I keep saying I want to get up early one morning and walk around Atlanta and get some pictures of all the old architectural they have. Some old churches then the new buildings. Photography is a place I need to improve on. Thanks for the inspiration.
Your award is beautiful!! Very much well deserved. So fun hanging out with you this weekend!!
