Steam of Conciousness Sunday: I am supposed to be folding laundry

I’m supposed to be folding laundry, but I’m avoided it. I went to the store to avoid it. I cooked breakfast and 2nd breakfast to avoid it. I read an entire book this morning to avoid it and now I’m watching Fixer Upper to avoid it. Well actually, I’m writing this post while watching Fixer Upper to avoid it.

What is it about laundry that makes us want to avoid it? We want clean clothes and not to have to dig through piles of it to get clean underwear. It’s nice, right?

Why have I been avoiding folding this ever-growing pile of laundry for the last two weeks?

I have been digging through here to get underwear since we came home from Turks and Caicos. I only had underwear and clothes for the wedding weekend because I bought it rather than go through the pile to find it.

This is sad.

But here I am, still sitting here, avoiding it. Maybe I should just throw them all away and start over?

Maybe my HUSBAND should help me fold?

OR THE CHILD WHO MAKES MORE LAUNDRY THAN ME???

That would be too much like right.

Let me start folding. Maybe I’ll be done by Christmas.

Or maybe, I’ll just keep making new piles of laundry and buying new packs of Hanes underwear so I don’t have to.

Maybe.
