So today, I went to my primary care doctor for a routine checkup. What makes this blog worthy is that this was my first appointment for a FULL checkup in 4 years.
FOUR YEARS.
Now that’s a damn shame.
Now a lot has happened in four years.
Including that 30 pounds I’ve put on since then.
Overall, I seem to be healthy. But my dr and I both agree that I need to loose those 30 pounds. LIKE NOW.
And because of my family history, of course I’ve been tested for diabetes, my thyroid levels were checked,blood pressure. I had an EKG…
I’ll be waiting on the blood tests to come back. I admit that I’m nervous. Because I really don’t want to be a diabetic….
In the meantime, I’m going to have to get my butt in gear and fine time somewhere somehow to exercise, eat healthy and get more sleep.
And somehow reduce the amount of stress in my life.
Sigh.
Just thinking about all of this is stressful. SMH.

You need to take care of yourself lady...I know you take care of others all day!! Hope all is well! I know you like to run...maybe do a training program for a half marathon...I know that's helping me stay on track!!

Get to losing I need to lose 80lbs to be at the correct weight for my height I hope to lose at least 20 by my birthday. Praying for positive results.
