Chasing Joy

Sunday 16th of November 2014

Thanks for your video. I feel inspired just listening to how you were inspired. Knowing I would be able to read everyone's recaps and thoughts on the conference made me feel better about not being able to go. Though I did feel jealous seeing pictures of you and Nae :-(

I remember when Mario Armstrong spoke as one of the Keynotes at a past blogalicious. He asked a similar question about what we could outsource. I decided to outsource my laundry and now I do a drop off. Sometimes I feel like I am lazy but then I realize I could be spending my time doing laundry or I could be spending my time on my blog, or working out, exercising or just taking care of myself. That my time was too valuable to spend it on Laundry. I'm happy you are getting a maid. Your time is too valuable to take away from your talent.

I love the idea of a laundry service. Cdub spend all day Saturday folding clothes for me. I wish wash, but never fold. I had clothes in baskets from WEEKS ago!

Lord that quote got to me! I'm not even half assing, I'm about a quarter assin with this blog and I it comes down to 2 things, TIME and VISION. It's be a struggle for me to find time to dedicate to blogging that doesn't feel like I'm stealing time for something else which then doesn't even allow me to have a proper long term vision for it ::SIGH:: I keep trying because I remember how passionate I was about starting it so I'll keep pushing til something happens. Great vlog!

Great vlog! And you're right, if you want to get much more out of blogging you must work at it full time. Like you, I have been in this blogging game for years (6 years) and put my all in it in 2012 when I started to see the potential of it. Thank goodness I did this early on because blogging has turned into a business for me and I now have paid writers on hand and a full time virtual assistant.

Yes get your husband more involved and show him that blogging can lead you to an awesome career. If you can, hire paid freelancers to help you clear up your workload. You can still blog full time with a full time job because I'm doing just that now.

If you ever need help please let me know and I will be more than happy to help you. We are all in this together and I want to see all my bloggy buddies succeed!

Finding the time I think is the hardest thing to do especially when working a fulltime job. Outsource what you can. With me having the two interns I can concentrate on the social media aspect and let them worry about brands. Don't try to do everything on your own either get with other bloggers in your niche and build a community. Now you know we been at this blogger game for way to long we should be further than what we are. I am mad at myself for not worrying about numbers and being lax in the beginning when new bloggers come out swinging from the get go. 2015 is your year do it
