Walking around in a daze

I’m home alone.

With a temperamental 3 1/2 week old.

Who hasn’t let me sleep more than 20 minutes in the last 24 hours.

Just now, he has decided to take a nap.

Am I asleep?

No, I needed to pee, and eat, and brush my teeth.

Oh and pay bills.

Did I mention that I am home alone?  The parents went home this morning to prepare for Christmas.  I can’t blame them, they have been here for 3 weeks.

Did I also forget to mention that the little one won’t sleep unless it is on me?

Everyone else slept last night.  Speaking of which, have any of you other new breastfeeding moms looked over at your sleeping hubby at o dark 30 and wanted to bash his head in for sleeping as you pulled out your breast for the umpteenth time?

I swear, I love the little guy, but I really really need sleep.

Wait………

I swear, I put him down 10 minutes ago and he is stirring already………

I've been at this for almost 6 months already and even though I pump, and there is always milk available I'm still the only one up once or twice a night. You can bash your hubby's head in but there's no way you're gonna get all that blood out of your baby's onsies. *shrug* ;)

Mine was gassy when he was doing that. I started giving him mylecon and he seems to do better. Other than that, I'm out of ideas. Except maybe give him to C-Dub when he wakes up and take a break for a few minutes.
