What Blogalicious Meant to Me.
It is hard to put into words how I feel about Blogalicious this past weekend.
I’ve been to three blog conferences now, and each time, I come back energized with tons of plans and ideas and excitement concerning my blog.
But this year is different somehow, and it’s taken me a few days to put it into words.
The connections. The sense of family. The camaraderie. The friendships. The willingness to share.
I have FRIENDS. FRIENDS who care about me. Who care about my blog, who care about my life.
I’ve got MENTORS. MENTORS who even though they are where I want to be, took the time to answer questions. Took the time to pass on advice. Took the time to encourage.
There is nothing, nothing at all like being around like minded people. People who GET what you are trying to do, who get why I sometimes am up at 1 am writing. Why I am on the illusive search for balance, why I tweet, why I’m interested in google analytics, why I think Buffer is one of the greatest inventions ever.
I’m inspired. I came out of this past weekend with multiple ideas, with new blogs to read, new people to connect with, and new plans.
I’m energized to carve out my place in this world. To show that I was here. To make this work for ME.
I can’t wait to return next year and show everyone what I’ve learned. To show everyone what I’ve put into place.
I’ll be back later on in the week with photos and recaps of sessions and the things I learned.
And next year, I want to see you all there.
Because Blogalicous ROCKS folks. It really does.
I’m glad you have a great experience. It’s always wonderful to hear that.
exactly.
*drops mic*
LOL no really I felt the exact same way as you. I’ve never had my cup so FILLED as I have with this conference. I’ve been to a ton this year, but I have narrowed them down to the important ones. And this one is at the top.
I agree!!
It’s great that you had an awesome experience; that’s what professional conferences should do. I hate that I missed it. I would have loved to connect with blogging pals and meet new bloggers.
Next year???
That sounds just like the kind of thing I would love to be a part of. Will it be here next year?
Probably not. 🙁 we’re going to have to travel! But we’ve got a year to start saving!!
What a great feeling. I. Must. Make. Blogalicious next year.
Yes!! You MUST
So wish I could have made it. What’s the locale next year? Glad you were able to enjoy it, heavily medicated and all. 🙂
It was pretty awesome to have that camaraderie and access to mentors who didn’t mind answering questions! It was so good to see you there! I can’t wait to see your recap pics…I know they will be amazing!
i think more anything this is the reason i want to attend a blog conference because it’s soo much more!! thanks for sharing this!
