Our Project 52 Week 3: Guilty Pleasure

No wait, make that a lifestyle change.
But ummm…..Talenti Salted Caramel Gelato……
Everything in moderation right?

Photography Tip of the Week: When doing food photography, the best tip I have for you is to get everything ready BEFORE you bring out your food. Plan what photos you are going to take, set up your props, your lighting, your tripod, where you are going to stand. Have everything ready. THEN, bring out your food. For this shot, I set up everything as far as lighting and my tripod first. I put the spoon in the freezer so it would be as cold as the gelato. I used an empty spoon as my stand in to get the focus and my settings. When I had everything ready, then and only then did I bring out the gelato on the spoon. I took 4 shots. Then ate the gelato. 🙂

This is a beautiful shot. When I saw it, I actually thought it was cookie dough, but ice cream sounds even better. Thanks for the tips. Now if I could just find the piece that screws into my camera to attach to my tripod I’d be one happy girl.
That salted caramel gelato hard to say no to. Even though dairy isn’t my friend I still have to eat a spoonful whenever my husband buys it.
Talent is so good. I was hooked on it and had to slowly back down. Some talent with my wine….having flashbacks. I might pick up some for my birthday in a couple weeks to treat myself. Beautiful pic.

I love gelato. I’ve never tried the Talenti brand though, but everyone keeps raving about it. So I may have to make a Target run, that’s the only place around here that has it. Well, maybe Walmart…

We have a similar guilty pleasure, I totally love that. Frozen treats are what dreams are made of. I just know it.

We found Talenti last summer at our local Whole Foods market and that was it…done and done. This stuff is amazing and crazy good. I keep the canisters for storage, and seeing them all just reminds me of how much we have eaten. LOL
This here Talenti is everything. You know it’s on my list too. No surprise right! LOL
As for this pic… it is gorgeous LaShawn. I have to slow down and really play with the settings on my camera. I want to get good!
