Getting Reacquainted.

Taken with Canon 6D and Canon 35mm 2.0 Lens

Settings: f/4 SS: 1/400 ISO 6400

I’m starting to pick up my  Canon 6D a little bit more. I’ve become so used to just whipping out my phone this year, that taking photos with my Big Girl Camera is just a side note. One of my goals for next year, (yes I’m already making them) is to pick up my Canon more and shoot with it. I still have a lot of learning to do. Plus, I’m taking my Canon to Disney( I’m going to rent a lens) so I need lots of practice before we go so that she and I can get reacquainted.

I’m looking forward to it.

I am going to rent the wide lens before I buy for thanksgiving. I actually pick up my big boy more than I do my phone lol. I am going to really kick it up a notch next year though with the 52 week challenge. I am going to spend Thanksgiving week getting the list together

I am hoping for a new camera for Christmas and hopefully that will get me back in the groove. I recently was trying to get a shot with my camera and when I couldn’t get what I wanted I reached for my phone instead of working to get the shot. The phone is really taking the place of cameras for everyday life. I took it to the farm with us a few weeks ago and ended up using my phone more.

Can’t wait to see what you come back from Disney with.

fingers crossed that Santa will bring you a new gift! It’s so easy to fall back on the iPhone. I’m going to have to deliberately be conscious of using the my Canon at Disney. That’s why I’m going to rent a lens. Hopefully that will spark some creativity.
