I tried……

You know, I don’t know what it is, but I’m discovering that i don’t really want to go natural anymore.

I find myself admiring relaxed hair again.  Now, don’t get me wrong, I love natural hair.  LOVE IT! But I don’t think right now I am cut out to go through the process of getting it where it needs to be to look good.  I don’t have the time to fool with my hair as much as I would need to to keep it HEALTHY and natural.  I work, I have a 1o month old and a husband and house to take care of.  I don’t have time to develop a routine!

I don’t know if my self esteem is lower or what, but I am not feeling my natural curls.  AT ALL.

It’s thick, it’s hard to manage and I am tired of trying.

And I REFUSE to look a hot mess this weekend when the baby gets dedicated!!

SMH.  Another big fat FAIL.

Le Sigh.

You've got to do what works for you. I'm cool with my short, boy cut. I tried to grow it out, but like others have said - it is work and it takes alot of time to develop a routine that works.

It seems like hair is a lot of work no matter how you wear it! I so admire the natural heads of CurlyNikki and such but it sure seems like it involves a lot of work. It is all I can do to wear a bun everyday!

Just because you've decided not to do it now, doesn't mean you can't in the future. And I think you can let yourself off the hook a little--you have a baby and a stressful job and a husband and a house and etc...

Sometimes it's just about doing what's manageable. And, um, photos of this weekend's event, please?
