This is the 6th year of the August Eyecandy Photo a Day Project for Instagram!
I started to skip because life and the algorithm and …who really posts JUST photos anymore?
But for the past month or so, I’ve had that itch in me to start taking photos again. I mean with my big girl camera.
I’m even considering getting a new camera, one small enough to carry around everyday.
Because once again, I’ve gotten out of the habit of taking photos due to the increased emphasis on video on the gram. I’m like no one is taking photos, no one wants to share, everyone is more interested in videos of some unobtainable routine.
But friends.
I’ve built a community around these photo challenges and while I welcome anyone new , my gram photography community is my ride or die!
I can’t wait to see how your summer is ending.
