How do you brown butter?

brown butter for brownies

So how do you make the browned butter? It’s easy!

Add the butter to a medium saucepan and cook it on medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes and stir frequently

The butter will melt, bubble, foam, and turn a deep amber.

There will be brown specs, it’s okay. I opted to strain them out, but you don’t have to if it’s minimal.

Once the butter is browned, pour into a separate bowl and allow to cool for 10-15 mins.

How to get fudgy brownies..not cakey ones

Brownies should be chewy, gooey, and all the good things. Not cakey.  Here are a few tips to make sure you get good results and make these gluten-free brownies just the way you want them.

1. DO NOT OVERBAKE.

2. Do NOT go off script and add anything like baking soda or baking powder

3. Make sure that you measure all of your ingredients when adding them to your brownie batter. Too much flour or not enough butter will doom your brownies.

Follow my advice friends are you will soon bite into the perfect brownie. I promise.
