Well Hey April! I have always loved April. It means spring, it means my birthday and flowers and warm weather and that school is almost over. There is so much going on here, so it’s time for an update!

Watching

Game of Thrones. Cause APRIL 14th!!! It’s back and I must refresh my memory and be ready!!! So many questions to be answered! If you are late to get your watching started like me, I saw this article on Facebook from one of the writers of Game of Thrones about which episodes you NEED to watch to be caught up for Season 8.

Reading

An American Marriage

Sigh. I’m going to try ONE LAST TIME to read  An Amerian Marriage by Tayari Jones. If you have been following me for a while, you know I’ve been trying to read this one book for over a year LOL. I gave up last year, but several others have finished it since I put it down and they all love it.

Loving

It’s Aries Season!!! My birthday is in 13 days! Gather your coins! LOL

Also, it’s my sister in law’s birthday on Friday! I mention this because she’s my favorite person right now because she’s pregnant with TWINS!! My niece and nephew are due to arrive in late summer! I.CAN’T. WAIT.

Planning

Summer!

It’s time! I really really want to make sure I take advantage of the fact that I have a flexible schedule and that Pookah is off for the summer months. We, of course, want to travel and go all the places, but I have to be mindful of the fact that even though I work for myself, I still WORK. LOL. Lesson learned from last year.

So far, we have several amusement parks, a trip to the Georgia coast, a family ( with the grandmothers) trip to Florida, and maybe a cruise and maybe an indoor water park. We shall see…

Feeling

Excited.  About travel, about Pookah trying something new like boxing, about changes in my business, about LIFE.

Is everything perfect? Not hardly.

Do I have my bad days? Yes. But do I dwell on them? No

As I approach my 43rd year here on this earth, I realize that I trials and struggles will come. That’s life.  But it’s how I choose to react to them that is the key..

So when I am having a bad day ( and yes, they come), I remember something I heard Steve Harvey say a few weeks ago at the Disney Dreamers Academy.

Your Track Record for surviving a bad day is 100%”

That’s all.

What’s currently going on in your life?
