Sooo, I took Pookah to the zoo on Saturday.
He wasn’t really interested in the animals.
Except the ones he could touch at the petting zoo.
All he wanted to do was jump in the bouncy castle( an xtra $2.50 please) and ride the train ( another xtra $2.50) and ride the Merry Go Round ( yet ANOTHER $2.50).
He loves the Merry Go Round.
And me, being a big sap, paid the extra, and took pictures like a good mommy with a camera. ( Among all the mommies with BIGGER cameras.)
He had fun though, even though I wanted to have a whole discussion about Gorillas and their mommies….
and Giraffes….
And Flamingos….
Oh well.
At least we got out of the house.

Pookah is really an adorable boy. Eventhough he's afraid of zoo animals yet he doesn't look like one. I really love his sweet smile. The innocence and happiness can be found from his smile.

So. Freaking. Cute.
I've taken Lucien to the zoo twice. The first time he was literally face to face with a llama, and he looked like he was thinking, "Hmm. No big whoop." The second time he only noticed the fish. Oh, well.

Get this kid in commercials or in a movie -- STAT. He is just too photogenic not to be working. Seriously. Look at that face. At the very least, he needs an agent for print ads.
As for you wanting to do the mommy stuff while he just wanted to do the kid stuff -- funny. He's a hands on kid for sure! And, separate pricing for the fun stuff? Whoa, have zoos changed that much? Okay, I'm way behind then. What happened to paying the entry fee and only having to pay extra for food, drinks and "special" exhibits?

That's a lot of xtras but it's for the kids right.....*mentally adding those 2.50 up in my head for two kids* + *paying to get into the zoo* = *very big sigh*
