How I Celebrate Galentine’s Day with Friends and Coffee

The internet can have you feeling like you are isolated and alone in this motherhood journey, feeling like a failure because your kids and house aren’t Instagram perfect. You believe you are the only one going through it.

Sometimes, to get out of my head, I like to have a few sister friends over for girl talk, coffee and laughter. I love my sister friends because they help me remember that I’m not doing all of this by myself.  Because all of us are busy moms, I knew we wouldn’t have much time together and that kids would be everywhere, but our best convos always come while sipping a cup of coffee, surrounded by happy kids and light. I knew Galentine’s Day was coming and getting together was the perfect reason to celebrate Galentine’s Day and my friends at the same time.  

So I started planning a simple get together that would caffeinate us, feed our bellies and our hearts.

I called up my girls, and after a few negotiations on days and time, I had a Galentine’s celebration in the works.

So that morning after dropping Pookah off at school, I picked up a few muffins from the bakery,   broke out my new  Keurig® K-Select™ coffee maker,  a few of our favorite Green Mountain Coffee Roasters®Green Mountain Coffee Roasters® Sumatra Reserve and The Original Donut Shop® Coffee K-Cup® pods and prepared my house (you know how that is) for company.

We had such a great time!

My new Keurig® K-Select™ coffee maker made our coffee dreams easy and convenient. With a simple touch of a button, I could make coffee for all of us. And the K-Select™ coffee maker features the Strong  button feature to make our coffee as bold as each one of us needed.

And um…we all needed STRONG coffee! We are Moms!

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters® and The Original Donut Shop® Coffee have such a variety of K-Cup® pods and all of us were able to have our favorite options without any inconvenience to anyone. Of course, the kids wanted muffins too so… LOL

It was EXACTLY what I needed.  I felt refreshed and loved and ready to go back to tackling Motherhood.

I can’t wait until the next time!
