For families that have family members with food allergies, a gluten allergy  or celiac disease, the question of where to eat can be the most stressful things about visiting Walt Disney World But what we love about Disney World Restaurants, is how they go above and beyond to make sure that everyone can have great experiences with gluten-free options at their parks.

Things to Know before dining at Disney’s Magic Kingdom

Before you visit, let’s talk about a few things to help your dining experience at Disney’s Magic Kingdom go well.

Before you go, remember that menu options can and often will change, especially when it comes to the gluten-free menus at the parks. Many times it is a supplier issue and sometimes, it’s just a menu change. be sure to tell a cast member about your allergies before you order.

I always recommend that you make reservations through the Disney Dining Reservation site for table service restaurants and use the my Disney Experience app for ordering from quick-service restaurants.

When you do it this way, you are able to indicate that someone is your party has allergies or dietary restrictions and a cast member, manager or chef will come to speak to you if you have questions about allergens.

I recommend this when you have food allergies. Unless it is one of the quick service locations that you have eaten at before with no problems. And even then, make sure you talk to the manager or chef to make sure there are no changes or chances of cross-contamination.

Ok, Let’s get started!
